The healthy part of EGG YORK

Many people throw away the egg yolk because they think that's where all the nasty fat and cholesterol is. This is a perfect example of how confused most people are about nutrition.

In a world full of misinformation, somehow most people now mistakenly
think that the egg yolk is the worst part of the egg, when in fact, the YOLK IS THE HEALTHIEST PART OF THE EGG!

By throwing out the yolk and only eating egg whites, you're essentially throwing out the most nutrient dense, antioxidant-rich, vitamin and mineral loaded portion of the egg. The yolks contain so many B-vitamins, trace minerals, vitamin A, folate, choline, lutein, and other powerful nutrients... it's not even worth trying to list them all.

In fact, the egg whites are almost devoid of nutrition compared to the yolk. Even the protein in egg whites isn't as powerful without the yolks to balance out the amino acid profile and make the protein more bio-available. Not to even mention that the egg yolks from free range chickens are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids.

Yolks contain more than 90% of the calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, thiamin, B6, folate, and B12, and panthothenic acid of the egg. In addition, the yolks contain all of the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K in the egg, as well as all of the essential fatty acids.

And now the common objection I get all the time when I say that the yolks are the most nutritious part of the egg..."But I heard that whole eggs will skyrocket my cholesterol through the roof ." No, this is FALSE!

First of all, when you eat a food that contains a high amount of dietary cholesterol such as eggs, your body down-regulates it's internal production of cholesterol to balance things out. On the other hand, if you don't eat enough cholesterol, your body simply produces more since cholesterol has tons of important functions in the body.

And here's where it gets even more interesting...There are indications that eating whole eggs actually raises your good HDL cholesterol to a higher degree than LDL cholesterol, thereby improving your overall
cholesterol ratio and blood chemistry.

And 3rd... high cholesterol is NOT a disease! Heart disease is a disease...but high cholesterol is NOT.

So I hope we've established that whole eggs are not some evil food that will wreck your body... instead whole eggs are FAR superior to egg whites.

Also, your normal supermarket eggs coming from mass factory farming just don't compare nutritionally with organic free range eggs from healthy chickens that are allowed to roam freely and eat a more natural diet.

I recently compared eggs I bought at the grocery store with a batch of eggs I got at a farm stand where the chickens were free roaming and healthy. Most people don't realize that there's a major difference because they've never bought real eggs from healthy chickens... The eggs from the grocery store had pale yellow yolks. On the other hand, the healthier free range eggs had deep orange colored yolks indicating much higher nutrition levels and carotenoids.

So next time a health or fitness professional tells you that egg whites are superior, you can quietly ignore their advice knowing that you understand the REAL deal about egg yolks.

One more thing about eggs... I read a study recently that compared groups of people that ate egg breakfasts vs groups of people that ate cereal or bagel based breakfasts. The results of the study showed that the egg eaters lost or maintained a healthier bodyweight, while the cereal/bagel eaters gained weight.

It was hypothesized that the egg eaters actually ate less calories during the remainder of the day because their appetite was more satisfied compared to the cereal/bagel eaters who would have been more prone to wild blood sugar swings and food cravings.

Ppl that do not respect others

Currently i m facing kind of situation, being ignore n not respected by people. This kind of situation make me feel so bad about it.its ok for once or twice, but its been more than that.i feel so miserable where before this he/she is a energetic person but after kinda failure which i dun want to mention in the training or competition he/she become a different person.May be in his/her frens mind he/she still as usual, but for me regarding to the running,i have totally(dun wan say such CRUEL word yet, should be partially..)lost my faith in him/she.May be i am not a good adviser or a bad guy in their mind, but i have try my best to solve the problem.Yet the result come out still the same,i feel that going to give up.Ppl that never appreciate ur effort is ppl we should avoid the most.May be a simple word of 10Q is good enough. For me no say such word also nevermind coz thru your own action i already know ur appretiation!I can say that i feel so sienz(in chinese mean boring)with such situation,From nows on i will never treat any1 ( for my running) so "special" anymore.Being volunteer to provide my advice and my past experience frm my secondary since my form 1 till now to those ppl,do u guys/gals think that outside there the competitor will really give u all their recipe of winning note?In this world all not only sport even our career works, ppl will never and ever give their "secret recipe" to u!May be thru good relationship, yeah you will get it.What about normal fren?even colleague also wont do so!May b i m too free gua....nothing to do so just provide the tips.....am i so bodoh???sometime if we dont want count too much there will be just nothing as usual,but...if really want to count about it,alot damages can be done!Dont wan say too much about it ler,any1 can give me good advice???may be i still raw not mature yet, hehe!

By the way final exam is coming for all government unis in Malaysia,I wish all the Unis guys/gals all the best in ur exam.Dont give up easily, anything can be possible. Results sometime is not the first whether for your academic or sports, the most important is you get to enjoy n learn the "process"!Thru the process you will automatically get the valuable experience which i hope every1 gain it day by day!

Larian Keputeraan Johor 2009

A run which we register in such a hurry condition. Before this we dont really know the exact date of the event .On thursday Jiha suddenly sms me told me the event hence i just send on the name of 4 of us,Lim,Chan and Yong Han.The event held at saturday evening. As Jiha said was 3pm...wow must be really hot..a mental challenge for all of us.

So,4 of us went to the Stadium Larkin, but Yong han decided not to join and back hometown in NS.After we reached there, only get to know that the starting time is around 4.30pm.As usual saw those season runner faces only didnt see the Kenyan faces.Even some from KL also come down to here to compete.

Last tear its been raining but this year sunshine. My starting pace quite good along with Chan also Ayie.I think that if i really maintain my pace like that sure got chance get inside top3 de,anyway it never happened till the half way i was totally out of my usual condition.I must say that i feel relived that i can finish the race in top 10 which was 6th.My time is 32 mins +.While both Lim and Chan in Top 25 position which were 35 mins + n 35 mins 58 secs.Ayie was better than both of them.

For women category Ida finish in 5h place while Jiha in 8th.Congratz to both of them.I think its been time for us to get the new talents.I dun wan to see all the same faces to conquer and conquer againt. Those first year student is what we really need.Look at UPNM,i really envy with them,as Chan with his fellows been doing really great job in making newcomer to fill in their places

photoes been taken by my cam when i my cam condition been spoiled the screen been hitted n crack ler...
