Recent activities updates

Hi.....its been long that theres no post in this site.Since 20th Nov i back to my hometown in Penang,Permatang Pauh(recent election where Anwar won his parliamentary seat).I and Lee still continue our normal daily training. What about you all???I hope that you all can enjoy your holiday but just dont forget our next year target and mission. In fact for this holidays is been very useful for you all to really gauge your training as to see whether you all can really independent by training your own.I can really feel that training your own is far difficult than our group training. For example you will become lazier, you will feel bored by running your own,you will feel that your run is not as smooth as before, and you will feel that your running speed or performance become lower than before. All of these syntomb(sorry dont know how to spell Malay is sintom) is been normal for runner like us.You dont have to really worry about it.Anyway bear in mind that you cant just stop at there or give up because of your holidays, you may choose to reorganize your training routine/programme.For example you can change your long run to shorter run so that you wont feel bored or change to some training route that more interesting to you,for example choose to run up a hill where people frequently exercise during noon time.Instead or training everyday, you can choose to run only 3 or 2 times a week. This may be become lesser than before but at least you dont stop your training routine. For this sunday, some of the kakithoners will race in the KRI Ipoh race.Running the distance of 12.8km may be a bit long than before for you all,but i hope that you all can take this opportunity to see how long/far that you body can sustain. In fact our training in university has been lesser than 10km,hence its not easy to run a distance which longer than our training.Anyway nothing is impossible. For example myself.I has been trained less than 6km but still be able to run in 10km.But this is not recommended for those beginner as it will give them harder task to cross especially during the competition day.In fact i dont really recommended kakithoners to folllow this style will be tough for you all.Hence its better we train in a moderate distance which can really cover out the competition distance.Only then you all wont really feel tough during the racing.Till here,i wish all the kakithoners can perform well in coming events.Dont put too much pressure in yourself.Just relax and feel easy about it.......All the best.....
