adidas sundown marathon 2010

Adidas sundown marathon 2010,kakithon UTM once again in Spore in another shoot of glory.....
Initially,theres some problem that we faced which make me like an ant in a hot wok.Anyway thanks god that all this circumstances been solved until my cross finishing line in sundown there still not yet finish!

I have to rush back to my Grandma Hometown in Kedah just after finish the race,i never wonder that it will be so smooth that theres a SMRT Bus that just arrive n pcik me,Chan,n Lim kor to our Car park 5!Really unexpected n it did help us alot!Luckily i arrive at Changi airport in time.



From our member participation,then event bib taking,then my flight schedule,all these been 1 by 1 getting pass by...u can see that vest above was been taken non 4 of us! But its Lim Kor's fren in Spore!Really realy thanks him alot!Without him,kakithon will not be in Podium again...or even go to Spore!

Thanks Hsiung for helping so much carrying our bag,its been a good experience for our these 2 new comer,Hsiung n Liting,hopefully they learn n enjoy all these that happen in Spore!As for Lim Kor n Chan,u guys been doing really great,i cant ask more from u both ler..haha!

Well,5 of us in Lim Kor car,a shoot before race,Hsiung seem like once again didnt wear his pant ler,ha!Anyway this time the vest damp nice..betul punya..x bohong as compare to that lousy enegizer punya vest ha!Newbie patching their D tag..ha!Old guy(Me n Lim Kor )just checking nia lo...

Finally,i sincerely dedicate our triumph in 2010 Sundown to all our Kakithon Members,the fact is that our kakithon spirit must always be strengthen no matter how hard the situation,just never ever give up,what we sacrfice be4 will be paid back not today,not tomorrow but will be very soon!Guys/gals after u all noe whats events that most important to us,come on....lets us strive to be at peak again!

How to become an good athlete

Staying at peak here has let me think about what exactly that i had done be4 this,it let me has a peace mind to decide what/where exactly i should be.Well i decide to write something else regarding the topic above through out my own experience in this world of running.It may be not as accurate as u see in some running article or website coz its all base on my own experience.

Be4 this i had gone through public speaking(inside my english class)with this topic,and i hope that with what i have mention here will do some favour 4 u to be excel in ur sports life.Theres few attitude that a must to be instill inside oneself.The points that i mention here have no specific according,coz all of them seem to be equally important.

1)Discipline:This is 1 of the most important aspect that i practise all the time ever since i started training with Kakithon team members.Without this element u will go nowhere!Nevertheless u may be the best inside the team yet u r indiscipline will only cause meaningless in what so ever the prizes that u had won!This element will be top aspect whenever in a team event competition,we will never tolerate those that never practise it.

2)Smart:Well this aspect may seem abit of confusing for some,but not for those elite members.Being a responsible athlete,u really have to be smart all the time either in ur training or racing.As this will save u out alot of trouble.For eg:if u'r smart enough,u will hardly sustain any injury during ur training thus maintain ur perfect condition for upcoming race!

3)Responsible:This element may be well associate with discipline,but here what i want to mention is ur responsibility to team,such as if u not coming for the training what suppose u do?well,i dun have to mention u also should know about it,since u r not child anymore.A typical guy/gal will inform any1 of us regarding his/her absent and this show how he/she can handle such condition.A short sms will be more than enough!

4)Hardworking:I think in this element,i may be lag behind abit,since i consider myself a lazy guy,ha!Anyway,every1 should know that theres no short cut to become an overnight champion,"Rome was not built in a day"is a familiar idiom that u all should know about it.I thought i had told u guys about hw good that my former Penang teamate that trained himself to become our national junior champion before this.

5)Good listener/appreciative:This also 1 of aspect u have to practise all the time,if theres a coach who come in to train/teach us,we suppose listen to him,altough u may have ur own opinion or some conflict regarding training technique.After all if he had give u tips that help u to win certain races,then u should really appreciate of how he shape u today,even though u didnt win any,u may need to thanks him as well!In fact a simple word of "Thanks you" will mean alot to him.1 more thing that he can sense ur appreciative is through ur reaction,what u had done may well inside his eyesight that show how u respect to him or not.

Well,heres what i can think about by now since i'm thinking all these in "impromptu" condition,i hope u can learn or get what i have mentioned.Older days of Kakithoner being trained together,simple yet meaningful!courtesy frm Kak Jiha.

Ekiden Run 2010




Kakithon UTM with the 5guys below joined the men relay open n got 3rd placing in it,UPNM guys taken 2nd prizes while UNIMAP took 1st placing.Congratz n Thanks to all the team mate that run so hard in this event!

The foods that you should eat

Well...Its been quite long that i didnt update any new post since i go into my Industrial training in Genting,other kakithoner some of them also attending their LI,so a "happy LI" for them.

Staying in Genting here for 2 n half months will be a real challenge for me to see whether i can really adapt into the weather in it.For the 1st week,i just go in the Gym everyday coz of the treadmil inside it since i cant find any where,i mean outside condition to run.Anyway things been slowly change from nows on.

Last few days i happened to read an article from NST.So i think the topic above will be 1 of the interesting infos for all of us.

Theres several items that i will list down so that you guys/gals can gain some good infos about it.
1)Baked bean
Erm seem like this item never cross into my mind that good enough for our health.According the article this item provide us soluble fibre,can help reduce blood sugar level n cholesterol.Its also protein sources.You can buy frm can baked bean as well.

2)Green tea
It rich in polyphenol,antioxidant,help regulate immune system also fight again tooth decay.Do try to take it!

3)Oily fish
Such as Sardin,mackerel,salmon are rich in Omega3 oils which make blood less likely to chump together that may cause clot.

4)Parsle
Chew on some after meal that rich in chlorophyl help keep breath fresh,good in vitamin c and antioxidant as well.

5)Apples
This astonishing item has 150 nutrients into it!Antioxidant,kill off viruses such as herpes that cause cold sores,quercetin sit just under its skin,so never peel the apple be4 eating.

6)Grapefruits
it help cut the calories intake,lower blood sugar,a supernutrient known to lower"bad" arteryclogging cholesterol.

7)Tomatoes
it packed with red pigment lycopene,study show eat it>10times a week have 30% to reduce of developing prostate cancer.

8)Potatoes
bake potato give fast-release energy,a great post -workout,muscle refuelling food.It help keep blood sugar lvl n appetite under control between normal meal.

One of my favourite food that can help to feel full and cut back on artery-clogging fats.

15)Chillies
Some may not get used to it,but it actually help to raise our metabolism,the hotter u can stand ,the more effect.15% increase in calories burnt for about 2hours

16)Wholemeal pasta
Ultimate filling-easy to cook,lover glycaemic index than plan n release energy slowly.Good 4 sportmen who need muscle packed with energy.

17)Turmeric
great source of curcumin believe to have anti -inflammatory effect n may help to fight bowel cancer.For indian takeaways,choose healthy dishes such as tandoori chicken,which provide turmeric but dont have load of fat!
