3 days 3 nites races

Erm...very busy de weekend,3days 3 nite is what i can conclude for our outing!Started from friday nite UTM endurance nite run,then energizer nite run,final this morning UTM Explorerace!Now i can rest ler,prepare for final exam then go for industrial training.As u can see above is 4 of us in UTM Explorerace finish within 2hours 1st again.Thanks to all the members inside the team,Chan,Lim kor and Zaheen.UTM Nite run,again Zaheen,Lim Kor and Ting finsihed top in their group,all of them got $500 each and $100 for leg winner.Thank Black and Jiha coming during the race.Then Cyberjaya Enegizer run,Lim kor drove all the way frm JB to there,Thanks him alot!Our relay team UTM Kakithon finished in 3rd while i join Ronnie's team got 2nd.Congratz our kakithoner,they try really hard to get something else in the race.Hsiung joining the half marathon also got his PB timing!Then after got our prizes for the races we quickly went back to Putrajaya sentral to get in the car to drove back to UTM already 5am morning!8am is explorerace!Lim kor once again suffer the most...pity him..This year explorerace is easiest among last races anyway we still need to run quite a distance to finish the task.As mention in registration form ,cham will get $300 anyway we just got $200 ,organisers said its 'tertakhluk kepada penyertaan pasukan'..zzzz..K finish ler,tiring...

Well,its quite long that i didnt post the picture of the prizes that we had won,since i just finish all my assignment and presentation before my final exam,i have little bit of time snap d prizes photo.Below i choosing the KL towerthon 2010 medal,plack and Energizer run Medal,plack.I love the design of towerthon medal and plack,every year they design different shape,its really a nice one.Then the energizer,their medal so so...plack quite nice,kinda like the sundwon plack

P/S:Energizer race nak complain sikit...marshal x cukup,jalan sign board x clear,x cukup,i think still alot ppl not satisfied with them,i just mention basic punya requirement for an organiser yg lain u all sendiri tentula..

KL Towerthon 2010 results

Well,what can i ask more 4 this year towerthon???Just after Masum in UPM,then we left around 2 weeks time to training,the fact is that before Masum we never train staircase so that 2 week is very crucial for us.Anyway not all the team members of 8persons attend all the training session which i stress the most for a teamwork.So tak hairan la,ada yang tak dapat perform to the time yang i expect!Although you are good in road or hill running,doesnt mean u good in anak tangga!

This year,i can say is toughest compare to last 2 years,coz theres UPM team,Unimap,Um and our old nemies UPNM.After look at the team namelist at saturday,i know that its not easy to defend our title again,UPM have alot of national n SUKMA runner,Um n Unimap have some good runners that i lost before in Masum,while UPNM have their core member back.

Nak buat punya semua dah rancang during training so its time for u to show how good you are!Both our senior advisors=Mr Faraied and Mr.Black could not attend the race,abit dissapointed haha!anyway we will still continue our Kakithon Spirit!Some of us in group2 starting some in group3,i can only say,group1 is most advantage compare to group2,3.I with Zaheen,Chan,Wong,Lim and Chan in group2 along with Jironi,Muniandi,Arultevar,UPM guys,Um guys,so i can say that this group is 1 of the toughest.

I thought that i can improve some secs in this year,anyway its out of my reach,i finish slow few secs compare with last year,yeat still within 16min barrier.Then i saw Wong and Chan both in 17mins barrier,then Lim in 18min and Zaheen.So after look at the condition,my last hope is to Kecik and Chau,if 1 of them can dipp below 17min,i'm assure of the title.Anyway quite dissapointed that they didnt do what i expect for.Then meet with Chan Jun Shen and the UPNM guys,wow..they really fast with most of then doing sub 16min..So i think that to get the title is been really slim..but to finish in top2 is been assured.

This year organiser very slow in put out the team results,untill 11.30-12pm we oni get it!Chan run ecstasily to me and Lim Kor saying we get d title.."si boh? "i said...i cant imagine for the moment...then go check with officers confirmed that UTM Kakithon get 1st in IPT group..Wow ,i have no word to say,may be too happy gua..ha!Forget to mention Tng gt her 7th right after she finished the race..this girl really make us proud,last year is Ida,this year her time even lost to the guy well around 30-1 min+ only...guys watch out!

Then get the prizes,same like very year,tunggu and tunggu.Finally we get the crown.Be4 this congratz to Chan(UPNM)team for their achievement,no easy this time,they really tough this time,esp Mr.Amirulhafiz.This year the medal really nice,everyyear they making different design and nice medal..last say,i really need to thanks all the team members,without u all Kakithon will not go this far,3years ler..hope the tradition will continue...In UTM KLGuess whos vest ??Siapa punya kaki ah??Kakithon family..Chan front of elaiyaraj..kekeWong with a top runner beside himLim kor..Ting very strong post when uphill7th in women category..silap silap potong u guys!UTM Kakithon champs at last..

Powerbar Team Elite & Excel 2010

Before this i was the Team elite of last year of which i landed the overall title of MUDS 2008,being the first timer in this squad,alot of things that i very new to it.Year of 2009 is the crucial year that i need to prove myself deserve for another shot of the selection in following year.

Indeed,i failed to defence the muds overall title that won by my fellow team mate,Ayie.Being fall down from top to ground is something very painful.I knew that i have to buck up myself or else i will never get to shot another good results.

This year,Powerbar had shortlisted me for the interview list early of Jan.After the phone interview that i went through,i wasnt really satisfied with my performance,some more at that time was my kuliah period and my friend come in to interrupt my phone talking.Anyway i have to thanks Powerbar for letting me go through this phone interview as i am really far away from Johor to KL.Then i met with Don Khor,a familiar faces in our local running races also been in the elite team for many years.Very nice to know him,even until his age now,i really cant believe that he can perform such an amazing feat in our running races.10km me ok la,but then go into half marathon....he sapu me like piece of cake...haiz...He told me that he been selected inside the team.While i didnt get any news,so i assume that i failed ler,some more i can see from my other UPNM frens that so many of them go through the session.

Anyway to my surprise,i got inside another team that call Team excel,along with Chan of UPNM.Its a second/back up team of the Team elite.Looking at the lists,so many pros and national athletes there.I think i'm 1 of the lowest standard that go in the list ba...anyway its good that's an opportunity for me to learn.Esp Don Khor and Bro Shahrom,they both been my way of learning n target.Their motivation to me/younger generation been really meaningful.last i would like to thanks alot to Powerbar/Nestle,Mr Jordan,Kak Rose,and those i didnt mention for the part of the team.I hope all the kakithoners will not give up easily,strive hard and smart,and 1 day you will get what you deserve for!
p/s:if u wasnt fully understand what i talk about,its ok coz its my intention doing so.But if u noe/fully understand then mean u'r part of my life n kakithon ler..haha!

MASUM 2010

MASUM 2010 held in UPM stadium again exactly like last year.Anyway this time we came in early 1 day and stay in UKM Taman Tenaga Apartment along with other uni team.Staying Bangi area for the 5days there,i can only say that the food there are so expensive than Johor,i mean our own UTM here,and some more not as nice here.

This year our team has more members than last year,especially in long distance event,since i take charge of the managerial post..ha!In the whole team,most experience is Zaheen as he is Sukma runner,other than him all r just what we so call 'chapalang runner'coz they mostly only run or start their athletic sport during in UTM here.So i can only say their standard is around district/daerah standard.So how you going to fight with those national level punya UPM athletes???

Anyway i didnt feel dissapoint with the whole team performance,since we dun hav stadium,our stadium training only 1 week once,yet some of our runner doing really well in this meet.
Our best performers are Zaheen and Ting,both showing really good progress during the meet.Ting esp broken 2 MASUM record..amazing...!Ida been overtook by Ting,she still back with 1 medal,me also old ler..alot of junior from other uni can easily overtook me..haiz..anyway i backed with 2 x5th medal.Wong got his pb in 5000m yet still from frm his initial target..1 more year to go dude!Hsiung also same condition,learn from ur first outing,so as Gan,Fareez.This year most 'diao'is they making 5000m semi final at saturday night then sunday morning is the final!Lim n Gan unlucky just miss the final round,anyway lim also making pb in the event.
Chan,another oldman..doing better time than last year,yet also far from the winner time...try ur best neext year ba!

Overall,its a good experience masum outing for the junior,hopefully they learn from it,remember:"running on track n running on jalan raya is TOTALLY different story!"I myself also proud of our kakithoners dicipline is the best in our masum team!Kudos to all of u!

Only chinese restaurant in taman tenaga there...we ate many times there ler..Happy b'day to u..happy b'day to Ah Wong!Coach is the front guy there!Ting in her 3000m..hot..hot...Ida keep chasing...Ting miss d gold medal by only 0.5secs...Hsiung walk cautiously in his 10km walk..ad get 2 warning ler...Gan in his maiden 10,000m still alot to learn!So as Wong appear to be front of Gan and FareezCan see 3 of them chasing each other!30000m steeplechase,i quite satisfied with d outcome,anyway still nid to improveThis year jumping better thn las year,so improve few secs lo..our puteri emas,mas cant get d initial target of gold medal.Her oponent appear too strong 4 her..Izzuddin,another old fler...same as las year back with the bronze in triple jump,coongratz to him..i hav to say hes a talented jumper although very less training!Chan lead all the way in his 800m semi..'very siok leh'..he saidZaheen had tougher group with Yunus!5000m final,Karthik damp fast d national runner..breaking 2 record n become olahragawan!As T.penasihat Black said"University Men Health!"Best model again is Lim Kor!Lai...lai...we got ah sou to call ler!Hsiung can call lim kor as abang ipar ler..hiak hiak..y ah??u all teka sendiri ba..This year medal/trophy very special....never been before i receive such in track event de!Kudos to masum for their creative design in all this!Zaheen losing to Elaiyaraj from UPM So as Ting in her 3000m..nvmd ba..try ur best next time..Our kakithon spirit will never off de!Old jor....on the stage oni me n the champion Faizal(ums) race be4,other all new faces!Ting de Bronze in 1500m,also in record timing!UTM Family photo!Coach tak tau pi kat mane!
