Sem break training for running

Here's 1 of the article i got from trispace.co.uk a very good triathlon blog/website.The infos i got not just for beginner but also for those season runner. So no matter who u r,as long u have d interest n passion in dis just take it as ur guide to move toward ur goal.

Run off-road
Running off-road has many benefits. It reduces the repetitive forces of running on hard tarmac, the uneven footing will toughen you ankle ligaments and stabilizing muscles; and the uphill sections will build overall strength. If your longer endurance runs are completed off-road you’ll probably reduce the injury risk associated with increased mileage.

-Ya off road been 1 of the best training solution for us,some more it will really toughen you body strength kinda like gym training liao.

Know your limits
If you know that running at different paces stresses your bodies systems, you’ll be able to develop a more structured approach and a progressive training plan. One of the coaches at your local club should be able to assist with this, or if you’re very lucky the local university sports science lab may offer free lactate threshold testing.

-For us is our running group lo.Remember doesnt mean you push everytime will let you improve all the way.Training smart is the approach that i want you all adapt to it!But need hard also, anyway smart always win over hard de ^^

Race Regularly
Taking part in competitive fell and x-country races will keep your cardiovascular system tuned up and your racing instincts sharp. The varying distances of off-road races will take the pressure off trying to achieve PB’s like running on road but at the same time will still be of benefit, working you near your maximum capacity.

-So doesnt mean that during sem break you stop all the way, instead take it as your challenge by joining more races!

Improve your style
How good do elite runners look when they’re whipping along? That’s because they’re well drilled when it comes to technique. Good running mechanics can be developed by running lots of short repetitions (50-100m) at a fast pace, just below you full sprinting pace. Do 3 sets of 3 x 100m reps, following a warm up, before your main run session to increase your mechanical efficiency at speed.I been train with you guys about it,in fact 30m also a gud one.

Buy the rights shoes
Sounds simple, right? No matter how flash the latest Newton running shoes look, if they don’t suit your foot type and style, then you’re going to be in for a frustrating season mixed with injury and disruption. Seek a running shoe shop that provides gait analysis or practical advice when it comes to the biomechanics of your running style. I’ve already rambled on about ‘How to choose the right running shoe’, which will give you a bit more background when it comes to foot types and available shoe styles.

-So above is what the article mention. My best recommendation is that before you buy,ask yourself whats ur next mission/target?You want either training/training + racing/fully racing or injury recovery?Only then you can really choose shoes that suit u!

Down some pounds
Loosing an extra few pounds during the off season will have you running at a quicker pace for the same effort come next year. An extra kilo of body fat will add an approximate 5-8 seconds per mile when you’re at race pace.

-Wow,this i just discover...will add 5-8 secs?So you guys better dun take granted go home and eat alot ah..jadi gemuk thn u will noe how hard to get back d shape ler..haha!

Run with a club
Running with a group or club during the darker months will make your run sessions much more enjoyable. Most running clubs will have a few different run groups that run at set paces which will enable you to maximise your potential.

-already in our group ler...

Remember recovery
In general, running can do more damage to your body than cycling or swimming. As you increase the intensity and duration you’ll need to be more disciplined with your recovery time between sessions. Having one easy recovery week in four will help keep you run injury free. Be sure to be aware of the first signs of injury, as there’s noting worse that running injured.

-I agree with this very much, its either you take full rest before you come back,or else you will suffer from the next training!

Be progressive
In order to get the most out of your off season run training you need to gradually build up the intensity or duration if you want to see improvements. If you to build endurance, then subtly increase you running time each week as well as the length of your weekly long run. Remember the golden rule to never increase the time or distance by more than 10% each week. The key to any progression is to be patient. Don’t expect results over night as progression takes time so see benefits. Planning and monitoring over months will enable you to place more focus on long term progression.

-Exactly like what i had told you all before,'Rome was not build overnite' training consistently is the most important, you wan rush? Can but with the correct method, but mostly when ppl rush they tend to make mistake easy until they dun know what exactly they had done!

Remain injury free
Training progressively over a period of several months is the consistency that all serious runners seek and this is the only way in order to remain injury free. There are no real shortcuts to success; look at the efforts the elite athletes lay down in order to get to the top. Don’t miss the opportunity to podium due to over-training injuries or bad off-season planning. Stick to the basics and you’ll not go too far wrong.

-So above article also share the same view i mentioned before.Injury, your own safety during training all this you must take care alot. You guys been lucky stay in our Uni that has less traffic rather than other runner that need to train outside which so dangerous. But although inside uni also need to take care!Remember that you must be responsible to your body!

Most of all, get out there and enjoy the benefits of your sem break running n training.

Inspiring Stories for Athlete

here is a great stories about how a pesisted normal people just like all of us can achieve remarkable feat.

i hope this story will motivate all of us who are mostly beginner in sports to truly believe in yourself and stay persisted.

anything is possible when we believe it is possible, hehe

source:www.my-inspirational-quotes.com

Cliff Young – the farmer who inspired a nation

The whole nation thought he was a crazy old man to undertake an almost impossible feat. Most feared that he would die trying. But this humble old man proved all the critics wrong.
Cliff Young, at 61 years of age, participated in 1983’s Sydney to Melbourne race. Considered to be the world’s toughest race, with the distance of 875 kilometers and took at least 6 to 7 days to finish, Cliff Young entered the race against world-class athletes. Read how he achieved the unthinkable and inspires the whole nation.
The Beginning
Every year, Australia hosts an 875-kilometer endurance racing from Sydney to Melbourne – considered to be the world’s longest and toughest ultra-marathon. It’s a long, tough race that takes a week and normally participated by world-class athletes who train specially for the event. Backed by big names in sports like Nike, these athletes are mostly less than 30 years old men and women equipped with the most expensive sponsored training outfits and shoes.
In 1983, these top class runners were in for a surprise. On the day of the race, a guy named Cliff Young showed up. At first, no one cared about him since everybody thought he was there to watch the event. After all, he was 61 years old, showed up in overalls and galoshes over his work boots.
As Cliff walked up to the table to take his number, it became obvious to everybody he was going to run. He was going to join a group of 150 world-class athletes and run! During that time, these runners don’t even know another surprising fact – his only trainer was his 81-year-old mother, Neville Wran.
Everybody thought that it was a crazy publicity stunt. But the press was curious, so as he took his number 64 and moved into the pack of runners in their special, expensive racing outfit, the camera focused on him and reporters started to ask:
“Who are you and what are you doing?”
“I’m Cliff Young. I’m from a large ranch where we run sheep outside of Melbourne.”
They said, “You’re really going to run in this race?”
“Yeah,” Cliff nodded.
“Got any backers?”
“No.”
“Then you can’t run.”
“Yeah I can.” Cliff said. “See, I grew up on a farm where we couldn’t afford horses or four wheel drives, and the whole time I was growing up– until about four years ago when we finally made some money and got a four wheeler– whenever the storms would roll in, I’d have to go out and round up the sheep. We had 2,000 head, and we have 2,000 acres. Sometimes I would have to run those sheep for two or three days. It took a long time, but I’d catch them. I believe I can run this race; it’s only two more days. Five days. I’ve run sheep for three.”
When the marathon started, the pros left Cliff behind in his galoshes. The crowds smiled because he didn’t even run correctly. Instead of running, he appeared to run leisurely, shuffling like an amateur.
Now, the 61-year-old potato farmer from Beech Forest with no teeth had started the ultra-tough race with world-class athletes. All over Australia, people who watched the live telecast kept on praying that someone would stop this crazy old man from running because everyone believed he’ll die even before even getting halfway across Sydney.
Turtle vs rabbits
Every professional athletes knew for certain that it took about 7 days to finish this race, and that in order to compete, you would need to run 18 hours and sleep 6 hours. The thing is, old Cliff Young did not know that!
When the morning news of the race was aired, people were in for another big surprise. Cliff was still in the race and had jogged all night down to a city called Mittagong.
Apparently, Cliff did not stop after the first day. Although he was still far behind the world-class athletes, he kept on running. He even had the time to wave to spectators who watched the event by the highways.
When he got to a town called Albury he was asked about his tactics for the rest of the race. He said he would run through to the finish, and he did.
He kept running. Every night he got just a little bit closer to the leading pack. By the last night, he passed all of the world-class athletes. By the last day, he was way in front of them. Not only did he run the Melbourne to Sydney race at age 61, without dying; he won first place, breaking the race record by 9 hours and became a national hero! The nation fell in love with the 61-year-old potato farmer who came out of nowhere to defeat the world’s best long distance runners.
He finished the 875-kilometre race in 5 days, 15 hours and 4 minutes. Not knowing that he was supposed to sleep during the race, he said when running throughout the race, he imagined that he was chasing sheep and trying to outrun a storm.
When Cliff was awarded the first prize of $10,000, he said he did not know there was a prize and insisted that he had not entered for the money. He said, “There’re five other runners still out there doing it tougher than me,” and he gave them $2,000 each. He did not keep a single cent for himself. That act endeared him to all of Australia. Cliff was a humble, average man, who undertook an extraordinary feat and became a national sensation.
The Inspirational Run Continues
In the following year, Cliff Young entered the same race and won the 7 th place. During the race, his hip popped out of the joint socket, his knee played up and he endured shin splints. But those didn’t deter him from finishing the race. When he was announced as the winner for most courageous runner and presented with a Mitsubishi Colt, he said, “I didn’t do it near as tough as old Bob McIlwaine. Here, Bob, you have the car,” and gave the keys to him.
It was said that Cliff Young never kept a single prize. People gave him watches, because he never had one. He would thank them because he did not want to hurt their feelings, but will then give it away to the first child he saw. He did not understand why he would need a watch because, he said, he knew when it was daylight, when it was dark, and when he was hungry.
Cliff came to prominence again in 1997, aged 76, when he attempted to become the oldest man to run around Australia and raise money for homeless children. He managed to completed 6,520km of the 16,000km run before he had to pull out after his only permanent crew member became ill.
His love for running never diminished but in year 2000, after collapsing in his Gellibrand home a week after completing 921 kilometers of a 1600-kilometre race, his lose his strength for running. The mild stroke ended his heroic running days.
After the long illness, Cliff Young, the running legend passed away on 2 nd November 2003. He was 81.
Current Race
The “Young-shuffle” has been adopted by ultra-marathon runners because it is considered more aerodynamic and expends less energy. At least 3 winners of the Sydney to Melbourne race have been known to use the ‘Young-shuffle’ to win the race.
Now, for Sydney to Melbourne race, almost nobody sleeps. To win that race, you have to run like Cliff Young did, you have to run all night as well as all day.

Kakithon new member, Chiun Hsiung

Hi, kakithon is very proud to have a new member to join us,
and his name is Chiun Hsiung,
here is his story so far in kakithon......

My name is Hsiung, I joined kakithon 3 months ago when one day when I was jogging and met Wong who asked me whether I want to join his group for jogging. My first training with them was like hell as I couldn’t catch up with any of them, but I told myself that if I consistently train with them, one day I will be like them. Mental is really important as Wei Xiang said, as every time I am the slowest in the group; many times I feel like couldn’t continue anymore but im very glad that I never stop running although that feeling was very strong.
After 3 months, I realized that I have really improved although very slowly. Until today, I still can’t follow up with the others but I know that im improving and the result of UTM Duathlon Challenge 2009 proved that. Although I got the 10th place in the Duathlon challenge, Im very satisfied with my result, it is the first medal I got in UTM and it is was my first achievement in sport. If I do not train with kakithon, I wouldn’t have gotten this placing. So I really thank the kakithoners (Wei Xiang, Chan, Wong, Lim) for their guidance and all the things that they taught me.
Kakithon is a very special group as I had never been into a group that really willing to sacrifice and really help you at the bottom of the heart. What I mean is the members really tell me all the things they know and all the tips to be a great runner, unlike most of the people will keep some “secret weapon” to themselves. Im really touched and feel guilty to this group as most of the time they need to slow down to wait for me and during my first LSD ride, they even have to push me for a very long distance. I really learn a lot in this group and I hope that I can catch up with you all very soon as I don’t want to be a burden to kakithon.

*we all are still learning, so we all learn and help each other to improve lo, hehe
*we still have few friends who already join us, next time we hope to hear from them lo.....

Pain

once a friend of mind, told me something really meaningful, so i hope to share it with all of u people, hope it will keep us going even when the road is tough

as an athlete, we always have choices to make,

in our journey to the peak mountain,

we will always meet with pain,

1 Pain of Regret

2 Pain of Hard Working

so, what is your choice?

would we rather tell ourselve that it is ok to stay up until 3am in the morning wondering "why i didnt train harder 5 years ago?","why i didnt run faster during the final 200m?", "why i skipped so much training days just because it was about to rain or my friends ask me to go out?", "why i couldnt hold on for the last few seconds?","why i spent countless hours for watching movie/play pc games/wandering around the shopping complex, rather than a couple of hours for training?"

the soreness for not trying hard enough when we are physically and mentally capable to do so, will hunt us forever whenever we see, hear and feel that whatver the other person doing,( for example running ), we can do the same or even better or a least have the chance to participate.
pain of hard working is temporary, but pain of regret will be overwhelming and last for a longx3 time.

i myself, have the very regretful experience during my secondary school years for taking granted what my coach taught me, as the result, i fail miserably.
the experience is still vividly stored in my mind, sometimes, when i recall back what had happened, i truly hope that i can compensate for my mistake.
and that is among my strongest motivation to train hard for my degree years, because after that i will have to give full commitment to work and support my family.
this 3 years will be my last chance to redeem myself.

there is a quotation from a sports movie
and it sound something like this,
"pain, tiredness and fatigue will be gone, broken bone will heal , but glory last forever"
and i add abit myself "regret will also last forever"

so, what will be your choice
Glory or Regret ????

hope everyone will work hard for your own dream.

the perfect story to help you get out from bed for training

this story really helped me alot to wake up early for training, hope it will pump up the motivation for all of us
our captain (ong) once told me before, that in order to be the best, we must take initiative to put more effort in training.
in order to win a race, we must be prepared, in order to be well prepared, we must train consistently, in order to train consistently, we must 1st, Get Out from bed!!!

What Inspiration Means To Me

What does it take to be inspirational? If you had asked me that 10 years ago, I would have said inspiration is Michael Jordan making the last second shot in the championship game, Adam Vinatieri kicking the winning field goal in the Super Bowl, or someone coming back from last place to win a race. But an event in my life when I was 17 years old changed my perspective on what it takes to be inspirational.

I remember like it was yesterday. I was a junior in high school and on my Christmas break in the first week of January 2001. My parents came home and said “we need to talk about your brother Vince.” Now before I continue, I should give you a little background on my brother. He’s four years older than me and someone I look up to (even though he’s shorter than me). He earned himself a cross country/track scholarship at Johnson County Community College, and since I wanted to run track in college I constantly asked for advice and tips. He was one of my coaches and pushed me to be the best that I could be. My brother had completed his two year stint at Johnson County and had completed his first semester at the University of Kansas. He was beginning to get sick, and had been going from doctor to doctor who continued to say he had Mono, but he knows his body better than anyone else and he wasn’t getting better with the recommended rest. In fact, he was only getting worse. So when my parents came home and said they have something to tell me I was all ears.

They told me that my brother had been diagnosed with Dermatomyositis, which is an auto immune disease that eats away at your muscles. I was speechless. Dermatomyositis is a rare disease, in fact only 1 in 200,000 is diagnosed with it and women are four times more likely to get it than men. People are usually diagnosed with it between the ages of 30 and 55. As you can see not many men his age have it.

A little more background on my brother, he has run 70 plus miles a week on a consistent basis getting ready for his cross country and track seasons. But this disease limited his mobility so much so that he couldn’t even get out of bed. The doctors said that he would gain his mobility back and be able to function normally, it would just take time. But my brother didn’t want to just function normally; he wanted to be active and run marathons competitively. So he asked the doctors, “When can I start running and exercising again?” The doctors replied, “It will take time and although you probably will be able to run, you may not be able to compete and push your body.” My brother didn’t say anything to the doctors but what he told my mother after the doctors had left sums up his attitude. He told my mother not to cry, since she was, “I’m still going to run a marathon.”

When he came home after being in the hospital for 5 days, he set forth on his goal to run a marathon. Believe me when I tell you that he started from scratch. In fact, so much so that I, his younger more good looking brother, had to carry him upstairs because he was too weak to walk up SEVEN stairs. He also was unable to lift himself up off of the furniture in our house. Now think for a minute. You’re not able to walk up seven stairs, and not able to lift yourself off of the furniture but you still think you can run a marathon. Well that’s exactly what my brother thought. He was going to run a marathon.

He started lifting himself up off of the furniture even if he didn’t need to get up simply because he wanted to practice and get better. He began walking upstairs and started going to physical therapy. But that wasn’t enough for him. After his physical therapy sessions he would go to a local gym and workout even more. He was determined to get stronger so he could start running and get ready for the marathon.

While at the gym, he would receive looks from just about everyone when he would be lifting his 2lb dumbbells and be struggling with them. Sometime in May he began to run and actually got yelled at from the physical therapist for being so sore from running, but he didn’t mind. His first run, he ran for 30 seconds and recalls feeling worse after that run than ever before and even since. He started running three times a week at 30 seconds each time and increased about every week by 10%. After each run, he would use the machines to get his heart rate up. By August, he could run for 8 minutes without stopping and began running with a friend again only increasing by 10% each week and still using the machines to get a better workout. In April he ran in a half marathon and finished with a time of one hour and thirty minutes. Not bad for someone who was only able to run for 8 minutes without stopping in August. He had worked himself up from not being able to get out of bed, to running a half marathon in a better than average time.

In October in the windy city of Chicago, 22 months after being diagnosed with Dermatomyocitis and unable to even get out of bed, my brother ran in his first marathon with his whole family, especially my mother, scared to death about what he was doing. He crossed the line like it was nothing, in fact he felt better after the marathon than he did after his first 30 second run. My mother was relieved and hopeful that her son would be satisfied with his performance so he wouldn’t do another one, at least for her sake. But again, that’s not my brother. He tells us, “I’m going to qualify for the Boston Marathon, the most prestigious marathon in our country maybe even the world.” He begins his quest for Boston, running two more marathons in which both times he barely misses the qualifying mark. On his third try, he does it. He qualifies for Boston. But that wasn’t good enough for him either, because not only did he run the Boston Marathon but he ran a then personal record, which is absolutely amazing in my book. This past October 2006 he ran in Chicago and set another personal record of 3:00:37, just missed breaking three hours. He also just decided to compete in a half-ironman triathlon in the summer of 2007. So much for not being competitive.

What does it take to be inspirational? Inspiration is getting back up after you’ve fallen. It’s running a marathon at a competitive level after not even being able to get up out of bed. Inspiration is believing in yourself even though doctor after doctor has told you that you can’t compete like you have before. At some point in our lives when times get rough we need to be inspired or motivated just to get out of bed, but has it ever been so bad that you simply can’t get out of bed? Think about it. Life’s hard but most of us can get out of bed, even in the worst of times. My brother is all the inspiration I will ever need to get out of bed.

Just a touching stories that i wanna share with u guys. enjoy la

Father's Eyes
This story is about a skinny young boy who loved football with all his heart. Practice after practice, he eagerly gave everything he had. But being half the size of the other boys, he got absolutely nowhere. At all the games, this hopeful athlete sat on the bench and hardly ever played. This teenager lived alone with his father, and the two of them had a very special relationship. Even though the son was always on the bench, his father was always in the stands cheering. He never missed a game. This young man was still the smallest of the class when he entered high school. But his father continued to encourage him but also made it very clear that he did not have to play football if he didn't want to. But the young man loved football and decided to hang in there. He was determined to try his best at every practice, and perhaps he'd get to play when he became a senior. All through high school he never missed a practice or a game but remained a bench-warmer all four years. His faithful father was always in the stands, always with words of encouragement for him. When the young man went to college, he decided to try out for the football team as a walk-on. Everyone was sure he could never make the cut, but he did. The coach admitted that he kept him on the roster because he always puts his heart and soul to every practice, and at the same time, provided the other members with the spirit and hustle they badly needed. The news that he had survived the cut thrilled him so much that he rushed to the nearest phone and called his father. His father shared the son's excitement and received season tickets for all the college games. This persistent young athlete never missed practice during his four years at college, but he never got to play in a game. It was the end of his senior football season, and as he trotted onto the practice field shortly before the big playoff game, the coach met him with a telegram. The young man read the telegram and he became deathly silent. Swallowing hard, he mumbled to the coach, "My father died this morning. Is it all right if I miss practice today"? The coach put his arm gently around his shoulder and said, "Take the rest of the week off, son. And don't even plan to come back to the game on Saturday." Saturday arrived, and the game was not going well. In the third quarter, when the team was ten points behind, a silent young man quietly slipped into the empty locker room and put on his football gear. As he ran onto the sidelines, the coach and his players were astounded to see their faithful team-mate back so soon. "Coach, please let me play. I've just got to play today," said the young man. The coach pretended not to hear him. There was no way he wanted his worst player in this close playoff game. But the young man persisted, and finally, feeling sorry for the kid, the coach gave in. "All right," he said. "22 You can go in." Before long, the coach, the players and everyone in the stands could not believe their eyes. This little unknown, who had never played before was doing everything right. The opposing team could not stop him. He ran, he passed, blocked, and tackled like a star. His team began to triumph. The score was soon tied. In the closing seconds of the game, this kid intercepted a pass and ran all the way for the winning touchdown. The fans broke loose. His team-mates hoisted him onto their shoulders. Such cheering you never heard. Finally, after the stands had emptied and the team had showered and left the locker room, the coach noticed that this young man was sitting quietly in the corner all alone. The coach came to him and said, "Kid, I can't believe it. You were fantastic! Tell me, what got into you? How did you do it?" The young man looked at the coach, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Well, you knew my dad died, but did you know that my dad was blind?" The young man swallowed hard and forced a smile, "Dad came to all my games, but today was the first time he could see me play, and I wanted to show him I could do it."

Laptop burst

Dunno the word i use 'burst' correct or not, anyway it just cant be used anymore....haiz....zzzz...Very big problem if such thing happen as i never facing this kind of situation.Hou sien leh(mean boring yet sad),what to do,may be its a punishment of God toward me coz didnt do thing well.

I just hope that after this it goes for checking is not motherboard problem or else i m going to be bankrupt!Thinking of joining more races in year end like Nike Human in Spore, now?tak payah la..better diam diam sit at home(hostel)focus in other thing ba.

Next week will be a damp busy week for me and other as i will going through 3 test,2 project need to passed up...haiz...no choice, just arrange ur time well, plan it and go for it.Its student life,i wonder the foreign country student will be like us,especially Australian which i love their sport policy the most interm of producing world class athlete anywhere and time!In Malaysia?Trust me the next Olympic still Lee Chong Wei!where the junior? Some of them already said bye bye to the badminton in age of as early 22 said he cannot sustain the style in here, tak tau la i m not the one close to this sport.

So,just harap the laptop can recover asap or dun use me alot of bucks or else kena campak longkang liao, siapa nak?haha ^^

Erm tak tau nak buat apa,so upload saje pic bawah ni.I think thru this pic can say alot of thing also haha!Ok,lets check it out....

Pic ni got from Ekiden run 09.Thnks Aunt Moey for snapping it up.So siapa dia yang ada di sini, rasa x payah kata pun dah tau(sori ya,i m using bahasa utara/penang,maklumlah i from penang,ha!)I rasa kasut hitam yang special color dia, bagi i,ia x mudah kotor,ni la orang yang malas nak cuci kasut...

Di sini ada 4 adidas againt with 1 New Balance, wow x kan always adidas yang conquer saje?Rasa nya ada 2 adidas lebih kurang sama shoes version yang Wong and Sylvia punya.Kasut mereka sesuai untuk training as well for racing. My black punya?Racing the most, name already shown Adizero. But frankly speaking,i still love my old de Pro Spec the much after wearing so long both this and that shoes.X pa la,dah beli apa boleh buat?Pakai saje la....
Kasut New Balance memang menpunyai depan yang 'wide'as my training shoes is also this brand,i found that its quite nice and agak tahan walaupun yang i pakai punya training dah botak dia punya getah di bawah.

Last,ni paling star dalam 5 orang yang pakai,Ozweego..nama dengar pun dah tau datang dari planet asing bukan bumi!Sememangnya, kasutni sesuai untuk training and racing, but i found that beratnya lebih kurang macam Adizero, and the air ventilation really good,so far whenever Chan pakainya CONFIRM dapat 'TERBANG' daripada biasa!haha!Atleats /km dia dapat sapu 10secs and above compare to his Brooks training shoes,so u kata kasut ni ajaib or not?
Bagi yang nak beli training for 20% + racing 80% punya shoes,i recommend this 1,some more the price lower than Adizero rm100+,baloi la...

For the guys out there,if u want buy any running shoes u can either seek advice from me(i m not an expert in shoe technology, but atleast with my experience before this,i think it can help u out)Sometime u and the shoes kena 'serasi' something that even shoes technology expert punya analysis pun tak dapat memberi answer yang tepat. When u merge with that shoes then u will feel the best in it!Mungkin apa yang i cakap ni u paham separuh or dunno anything at all, tapi x pa,yang penting you select a good shoes that suit u the best only then you will not feel regret.

4th Ekiden Run

Wong,Uncle Moey,Chan/show off his fake oakley..wakaka! and Sylvia
Team Kakithon Plus!
Sylvia pass the baton to Chan,She is first runner of the team and did pretty well!Congratz!
Results list

Its an annual team run event which held in Putrajaya. This time with the help of Moey Family of Uncle Moey and Aunt Tan,we form a team call Kakithon Plus.Infact when we go up to KL from Jb,we didnt really target anything else, just hope all of us try our best since this is our first time in this events.

Then we reached Kelana Jaya at night where stay in Uncle Moey house. Thanks alot to them! And the teamlist been out, theres almost 140 team in mixed category...zzz...such alot of teams some more we saw the UPNM team again..Haiz,this time we just really wan to try our best, anything else beyond this will be a bonus to us.

Then we reach PICC at early morning,3km is the distance for each of us,but Uncle say that some stations will have abit of hilly area,so i decide to take the station 4 which eventually turn out to be the easiest part.Anyway each of us already try our best and we got the 4th placing which turn out to be a surprise for me,coz before this i think that our team will get 6th only provided during my 4th baton i only can get to the 6th.But Wong overtook 2 other team in the final round, hah!Sylvia,Chan and Uncle are first -3rd baton.

A race which turn out to be surprise for 5 of us,but looking at what UNIMAP and UPNM did,i think their uni just had done really good job by joining in this race. Some more their team all got top 5 finish!Congratz to all that join the race!Thnks again to Moey family!
